• Grant Writer:  If you have experience in grant research and writing, come join Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue to help find and apply for grants to help the little ones that we rescue.  Submit a volunteer application to let us know of your interest in this opportunity.
  
• Become a best friend to a dog that is a special needs dog. Special needs dogs are in need of additional medical care that goes beyond what an adoption fee will cover. Also these dogs may never be ready to go to a forever home and will be cared for by the foster parent for the rest of his or her precious life. More details here.
  
  We are always needing the following items, your contribution would greatly be appreciated:
  

• Crates

• Blankets
• Dog Beds
• Dog Food (can and dry)
• Dog Collars (xsmall, small and medium)
• Dog Leashes
• Dog water & food bowls
  
  Note: All Volunteers that will handle dogs will have to fill out an application and have a home visit.
