Through no fault of their own, more than four million dogs end up in shelters and breed-rescue organizations every year, and nearly half of them never find a place to call home. In the past, the Petco Foundation has donated to Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue, Inc., through in-store programs like Tree of Hope, Spring A Pet, and Round up. In 2016, the Petco Foundation honored us with a grant of $5,000 , which went to the medical care of the small dogs that came into our care.
